About the Lancanster County Junior Golf Tour
Mission Statement
The mission of the Lancaster County Junior Golf Tour is to provide junior golfers of central PA with a tournament golf environment emphasizing competition, Rules of Golf, golf culture, sportsmanship and participant behavior.
Purpose
Founded in 2000 by several local golf professionals, the Lancaster County Junior Golf Tour has been run since 2003 by a board of parents and supporters of golf. Originally, the tour was founded to provide high school golfers the opportunity to play competitive events in preparation for the upcoming PIAA season. It has since been expanded to include younger golfers beginning at age 9. While we try to develop etiquette and knowledge of the rules, we are not designed to offer golf instruction. True to our origins, we still define these juniors as those golfers who have PIAA eligibility remaining.
Non Profit Organization
The Lancaster County Junior Golf Tour is a 501(c)(3) Charitable Non Profit Organization.
